Shardea has been in the financial services industry since 2008. After graduating during the Great Recession, Shardea was determined to follow her passion. Her experience with companies such as JP Morgan Chase Private Wealth Management, PNC Bank’s Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch in banking, investment management, and insurance prepared her for her role with Greenwood Wealth Management.
Her focus is on developing strategies and providing advice for individuals, their families, and their businesses. Her zeal for developing and maintaining strong client relationships gives her keen insight in helping clients develop their short- and long- term financial objectives and adjust their strategy, as the inevitable changes in life occur.
Shardea is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, holds Series 7, 65 and 63 FINRA registrations along with Health Life and Accident Insurance licenses. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Actively involved in the community, Shardea participates in Pro-Bono financial planning workshops and speaks on panels about financial management and the importance of changing one’s mindset around money. Shardea has served on the Board of The Community Foundation for Financial Literacy and Demanding Artistic Excellence, Theater Company. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Shardea lives with her husband, Clinton Ages in Atlanta, Georgia where they are active in their community.
